Legal Entity

HoverScribble is owned and operated by Hover Scribble. All references to "HoverScribble", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to Hover Scribble.

1. License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use HoverScribble on your personal computers. This license permits:

• Installation on multiple personal devices owned by you
• Personal and commercial use of the software
• Creation of content (screenshots, annotations) for any lawful purpose

2. License Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Redistribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the software for any illegal purpose
• Share your license key with others

3. Free Trial

HoverScribble offers a 3-day free trial with full functionality. The trial:

• Includes all features without limitation
• Requires no credit card or payment information
• Automatically expires after 3 days from first launch
• May be converted to a full license by purchasing

4. Payment and Pricing

HoverScribble is offered as a one-time purchase of $18 USD. This includes:

• Perpetual license to use the current version
• All future updates at no additional cost
• Email support

Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect existing license holders.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with HoverScribble, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.

6. Updates

We may release updates to HoverScribble from time to time. These updates may include bug fixes, new features, or security patches. You are entitled to all updates as part of your license.

7. Intellectual Property

HoverScribble and all associated materials, including but not limited to the software, documentation, and branding, are the intellectual property of Hover Scribble. Your license does not grant you any ownership rights.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

HoverScribble is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• Any defects will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall HoverScribble be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the software, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. User Content

You retain all rights to any content you create using HoverScribble, including screenshots and annotations. We claim no ownership over your content.

11. Termination

Your license may be terminated if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and delete all copies.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
